Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Wetland Wonders

Tuesday

Did You Know?

The Somerset Levels are famous for its starlings. During autumn and winter, millions of starlings gather in the area and create breathtaking displays in the sky, called murmurations. They frequently do this to stay warm, communicate and avoid predators. Starlings occupy the levels in such large numbers because the wetland offers plenty of food and shelter during the colder months.
