Morning Starters: Spring 2 - Plastic Planet

Monday

Did You Know?

The world is facing a serious problem with plastic waste. Every year, more than 8 million tonnes of plastic end up in the oceans, which is very harmful to animals and the environment. Tiny pieces of plastic, called microplastics, also make their way into food chains, which can be dangerous to our health. It’s really important that people all over the world take action. We need to reduce how much plastic is made, improve how we handle waste and find more eco-friendly alternatives.
