Morning Starters: Spring 2 - Antarctica

Wednesday

Did You Know?

Crabeater seals are hardy and determined mammals, whose speed and physical agility in the icy waters that surround Antarctica help them evade predators like killer whales and aggressive leopard seals. Despite their name, crabeater seals primarily feed on Antarctic krill. They are among the most populous seals in the world, with an estimated population of around 15 million.
