Did You Know?

The nightmarish deep-sea anglerfish is a creature known for its terrifying appearance and unique hunting method. It uses a bioluminescent lure (a glowing extension of its dorsal spine) to attract unsuspecting prey in the pitch-black ocean depths. When a curious fish approaches the light, the anglerfish’s massive mouth and sharp teeth snap shut with lightning speed.
