Morning Starters: Spring 2 - Solar System

Friday

Did You Know?

In 2006, Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet. It is just half the width of the United States. At a distance of 3 million miles from the Sun, temperatures on Pluto drop to -232°C, making it far too cold to sustain life. Close-up images of Pluto’s surface have revealed icy mountains, valleys, plains and craters. They were taken by NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft in 2015.
