Morning Starters: Spring 1 - Heart & Blood

Wednesday

Did You Know?

Titanosaurs were the biggest land animals Earth has ever seen. Living during the Cretaceous period, it is thought that a titanosaur’s heart probably weighed as much as three men. It has been calculated that a titanosaur’s heart needed to pump around ninety litres of blood with each beat. Unlike a human heart, the titanosaur’s heart would have had four chambers instead of two.
