Morning Starters: Spring 1 - Clean Energy
Did You Know?
A wind farm is a collection of large wind turbines. They are strategically placed in areas with consistent wind patterns, such as plains, coastlines and offshore locations. The wind causes the turbines’ huge blades to rotate, which can then be converted into electricity. Wind farms reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help combat climate change by providing a sustainable alternative to fossil fuels.
