Did You Know?

Bristol’s ‘Poo Bus’ was a unique and innovative public transportation project launched in 2014. Officially named the ‘Bio-Bus,’ it was the UK’s first bus powered entirely by biogas (methane) derived from human sewage and food waste. Using biofuels to generate power, including electricity, offer several advantages that include reduced greenhouse gas emissions, lower pollution and decreased dependence on fossil fuels.
