A sea otter loves nothing more than feasting on a mussel. By floating on its back, and resting a stone on its stomach, a sea otter is able to smash open a stubborn mussel’s hard shell and reach the fleshy feast that lies within. It may take several attempts, but sea otters are renowned for their resilience and resourcefulness.
