The strange-looking frogfish can be found in shallow tropical and subtropical ocean waters around the world. This small fish species has modified pectoral fins that resemble legs, allowing it to ‘walk’ along the ocean floor in search of prey. Masters of disguise, many frogfish have body colours and textures that mimic their surroundings.
