Morning Starters: Autumn 2 - Climate Change

Thursday

Did You Know?

Green turtles, which have swum the oceans of the world since prehistoric times, face an uncertain future due to global warming. This is because the gender of a green turtle depends on the temperature of the sand that incubates the egg. As sand temperature warms due to climate change, there are now far too many female hatchlings. With not enough males in the population, this marvellous marine reptile could soon become extinct.
