Did You Know?

There is an insect that can survive the brutal Arctic winter. Whilst hibernating underground, ice encases the entire body of the Lapland queen bumblebee. Due to her thick fur (and other clever adaptations), she is able to endure the Arctic’s sub-zero temperatures, while the rest of her colony perishes.
