Morning Starters: Autumn 1 - Epic Journeys

Wednesday

Did You Know?

Caribou (known as reindeer in Eurasia) are famous for their long-distance migrations. The epic journey of this herbivorous species is triggered by weather conditions and the availability of food. Caribou are well-adapted to cold environments, with thick fur and large hooves that help them navigate snowy terrain. They can travel up to 5,000 kilometres a year, making their migration one of the longest of any land mammal.
