The Venezuelan pebble toad is able to escape the jaws of a toad-eating tarantula by rolling itself into the shape of a small rock and bouncing its way to safety down the side of a steep cliff. Despite this impressive escape tactic, the pebble toad is only the size of a human fingernail.
