Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Oceans
Did You Know?
Plastic waste makes up 80% of all marine pollution, with around 8 million tonnes entering the world’s oceans each year. This poses a serious threat to marine life, as animals often mistake plastic for food or become trapped in it. Beach clean-ups and recycling programmes are effective ways to reduce the amount of plastic reaching seas and oceans.
