Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Night Life

Wednesday

Did You Know?

Badgers are nocturnal creatures, emerging at night to forage for worms, insects and small mammals. They have poor eyesight but rely on their keen sense of smell to locate food in the dark. During the day, they retreat to underground burrows called setts, which they dig using their strong claws. These setts can be complex tunnel systems, often shared by multiple generations.
