Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Human Animal Conflict

Friday

Did You Know?

In Churchill, Canada, traps are set to catch polar bears wandering into town. Churchill is close to the Arctic, and melting ice caused by global warming forces bears to look for food on land. Hungry bears become a nuisance as they explore bins and homes. Trapped bears are safely moved away from humans, giving them an opportunity to return to their icy habitat.
