Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Human Animal Conflict

Monday

Did You Know?

In India, a battle rages between farmers and elephants over rice crops. Elephants, drawn by the scent of ripe rice, can eat enough to feed 1,000 people in a single night! But this feast comes at a terrible cost—around 400 people lose their lives each year in these encounters. Elephants are simply searching for food in their shrinking environment, but this aggressive conflict often ends in tragedy.
