Did You Know?

In ancient times, people believed thinking occurred in organs like the heart, liver or spleen. However, it was later discovered that the brain is the body’s control centre, connected to everything through the nervous system. By studying brain injuries, scientists have identified its role in functions like speech, memory and smell. Despite centuries of research, much about the brain remains unknown.
