Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Predator and Prey

Tuesday

Did You Know?

Octopuses are formidable predators with clever techniques to catch prey. Some use camouflage, changing color to match their environment, while others shoot jets of water to stun their targets. The Abdopus octopus is especially ingenious: at low tide, it leaves its rock pool and “walks” across land to hunt crabs in nearby pools. This behavior makes the octopus a surprising competitor in the tide pools.
