Morning Starters: Summer 2 - Predator and Prey

Thursday

Did You Know?

Flying fish have a remarkable escape strategy that allows them to evade predators in the open ocean. When threatened, they propel themselves out of the water at high speeds, using their powerful, fin-like tails to gain momentum. Once airborne, they spread their large, wing-like pectoral fins to glide above the surface, sometimes travelling over 200 metres in a single leap.
