Morning Starters: Summer 1 - Four Seasons

Tuesday

Did You Know?

Winter is a challenging season for many animals as food becomes scarce. Some rely on humans – garden birds eat seeds and nuts from bird feeders, while farmers provide sheep with hay. Others must find food themselves: barn owls hunt for mice in open fields, robins search molehills for insects and squirrels dig up buried nuts. For some animals, survival depends on hibernation or migrating to warmer regions.
