In the Sea of Cortez, a family of orcas has mastered an effective hunting technique by learning from their mother. She leads by example, teaching her young how to herd rays into a tight group and trap them near the surface. This skill requires teamwork and persistence, and the young orcas succeed by following her guidance and practising the strategy.
