Did You Know?

Many animals, including humans, learn essential skills by watching and copying their parents. Young Siberian ground squirrels learn to glide from tree to tree by observing their parents. These squirrels have skin stretched between their limbs, acting like wings to help them glide. Their first attempts can be awkward, but with determination and practice, they soon achieve their marvellous aerial skills!
