Morning Starters: Summer 1 - Fascinating Fruit

Wednesday

Did You Know?

Fungi, like mushrooms and toadstools, grow amazing fruiting bodies above ground to spread their spores. Most of the fungus lives hidden underground, feeding on dead plants and animals. Some fungi even glow in the dark, a marvellous sight! Many fungi are poisonous, though, to stop animals from eating them before their spores are ready to spread.
