Morning Starters: Spring 2 - Arctic

Monday

Did You Know?

The Arctic is a cold and icy region that is located at the northernmost part of planet Earth. It is made up of frozen oceans, vast tundras and snowy landscapes. Although it’s much too cold for trees to grow in most areas of the Arctic, some tough species like dwarf birch and Arctic willow have adapted to survive in this harsh wilderness. Mammals, such as polar bears and Arctic foxes, are also able to endure the extreme weather of the Arctic region, where winter temperatures average at a bone-chilling minus 22°F.
