Morning Starters: Spring 2 - Arctic
Did You Know?
The Inuit people have lived in the Arctic for thousands of years. They inhabitat the northern regions of Canada, Greenland and the United States. The Inuit people’s traditional lifestyle is under threat as the Arctic ice melts due to climate change. Travel by dog sled, once a vital way to move between villages, is now impossible in many areas. Melting ice makes hunting and fishing harder too. Despite these challenges, the Inuit continue to adapt, determined to preserve their culture and protect the fragile Arctic environment.
