Did You Know?

On August 5th, 2011, NASA’s Juno spacecraft began its 1,740-million-mile journey to Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system. After five years, Juno finally reached Jupiter on July 4th, 2016. The spacecraft now orbits the gas giant every 53 days. Juno helps scientists study Jupiter’s giant storms, swirling clouds and deep core, revealing amazing secrets about this massive, mysterious planet!
