Morning Starters: Spring 1 - Resilience

Tuesday

Did You Know?

As ice- fee periods become longer in the Arctic due to climate change, it is becoming increasingly difficult for polar bears to catch seals from their traditional sea-ice platforms. This has forced the mighty carnivores in land, where they stalk and chase animals such as reindeer. However, polar bears are heavy and not built for speed. Chasing reindeer requires incredible resilience and determination with the vast majority of hunts ending in failure.
