Morning Starters: Spring 1 - Plastic Planet

Monday

Did You Know?

Plastic is an amazing man-made material. It’s cheap to produce and has many uses. However, each year, millions of tonnes of plastic enter the world’s oceans. This is disastrous for wildlife. Seabirds, especially fulmars, mistake plastic for food, causing injury and starvation. Shockingly, 93% of fulmars have plastic in their stomachs. We can all help by reducing our plastic use, recycling and picking up litter.
