Did You Know?

Climbing Mount Everest is an incredibly dangerous. Sherpas play a crucial role in preparing the mountain for other climbers by stretching ropes and placing ladders across deep crevasses. One of the most perilous sections of the climb to the summit is the Khumbu Icefall, a constantly shifting glacier that can collapse without warning. Crossing it requires great courage and skill. Combined with freezing temperatures, low oxygen levels, and treacherous paths, climbers must be both determined and thoroughly prepared to face this ultimate challenge.
