The UK is home to impressive mountains like Snowdon in Wales, which stands at a height of 1,085 metres above sea level. But compared to the towering giants of the Rockies, Andes, and Himalayas, it’s tiny! Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain, is nearly nine times the height of Snowdon. These mighty peaks remind us of the marvellous diversity of our planet’s landscapes and the adventures they inspire.
