Did You Know?

Over Lake Malawi, a tranquil, sunlit day can swiftly transform into an extraordinary and surreal spectacle. Towering tornadoes of minuscule insects, called midges, spiral upward from the shimmering surface. These delicate creatures gather in enormous swarms for their maiden flight, creating dense clouds that hum with life. The swarms can grow so thick and overwhelming that people passing through them have occasionally found it difficult to breathe!
