Tuesday

Did You Know?

Chimpanzees learn in ways much like human children – by copying skilled adults. Some chimp groups use wooden hammers or rocks to crack open nuts, while others use sticks to fish for termites. Even neighbouring troops can develop completely different techniques. This variety shows how resourceful and determined chimpanzees are in solving problems in their environment.
