Did You Know?

Hawksbill turtle hatchlings in coastal cities face a disastrous start to life. Instead of heading to the ocean from their sandy burrows, they mistake bright city lights for the moon and head in the wrong direction. Many end up in drains or get injured by vehicles. Thankfully, conservationists work tirelessly to rescue these tiny turtles, ensuring they reach the safety of the sea, where they belong.
