Morning Starters: Autumn 2 - Forces of Nature

Thursday

Did You Know?

The Earth is like a gigantic magnet, with a magnetic field stretching far into space. At the North and South Poles, this field interacts with charged particles from the Sun to create auroras – brilliant displays of light in green, purple and red. These lights are called the Northern and Southern Lights. The Earth’s magnetic field not only creates these beautiful effects but also shields us from harmful solar radiation.
