Morning Starters: Autumn 2 - Climate Change

Thursday

Did You Know?

Climate change is warming the oceans, making them too hot for coral reefs to survive. Corals rely on tiny algae living inside them for food and colour, but when water gets too warm, the algae leave. This causes the coral to turn white, a process called bleaching. Without the algae, corals become weak and may die, harming the animals that depend on them for shelter and food.
