Morning Starters: Autumn 1 - Plant Parts

Thursday

Did You Know?

Fruits aren’t just tasty snacks – they have a special job in helping plants survive! For example, in the Sonoran Desert, the saguaro cactus grows fruit filled with seeds that many animals, like birds and bats, love to eat. When these animals travel, they drop the seeds in different places, giving the cactus a chance to grow in new spots. It’s a brilliant system for spreading life far and wide.
