Further Challenges

  • Can you describe your bee hotel design by identifying the following:
  1. How many right-angles are there?
  2. How many pairs of parallel lines are there?
  3. How many shapes have symmetry?
  •  Sit back-to-back with a partner and draw 3 touching 2D shapes on a whiteboard. Now describe the shapes (without naming them) that you have drawn and their positions in relation to each other. Can your partner draw what you have drawn from your description alone?
