Clip Description
Big cats are powerful mammals that include lions, jaguars, leopards, tigers and cheetahs. Wherever big cats live, they are at the top of the food chain. Most use a ‘stalk and ambush’ method to catch their prey. Apart from the cheetah, they communicate their whereabouts by roaring. A lion’s roar can be heard 8 km away!
In this fascinating clip, we learn about the busy life of a big cat tigress called Raj Bhera. Scent marking her territory, hunting and nursing her cubs are just a few of her responsibilities. What will her cubs do when they leave the safety of the den? Watch the clip to find out.
