Writing Activities: Year 4

Tiger

Known for their strength and power, tigers are the largest members of the cat family. Tigers like to live alone, keeping their rivals away by using their scent to mark their territory. Tigers are recognisable by their distinctive striped coats. However, no two tigers have exactly the same stripes. Their coats act as camouflage when hunting their prey. A hungry tiger can eat as much as 60 pounds in one night.

In this clip, we will see a mother tiger, Raj Bhera, playing with her cubs and exploring their den after a long day’s hunting.

Tumbling around the den, the male tiger cubs play rough

In the distance, we see their sister, Biba, watching them from afar
