Pallas’s cats
Pallas’s cats are best adapted to arid, cold environments such as high, rocky areas. They make their dens in caves, crevices or burrows dug by other animals. They are crepuscular animals, meaning they are active during twilight. They have a dense coat, which is extremely thick. The coat provides warmth and insulation. This is essential as the cats spend a large amount of time on frozen ground and snow.
In this clip, we will see some kittens playing – a vital way of honing their hunting skills and building strength. We will see them give a vole a run for its money!
