• Write a set of instructions about how to stalk a guanaco without being seen.
• What might the conversation between the two sisters be after the tailless one messed up their chance of eating? Write a short dialogue and try to be creative by showing their contrasting characters (bossy versus defiant, careless versus very careful, being impulsive versus being studious and doing everything perfectly, being serious versus being silly).
• Write about the stalking from the point of view of the guanaco. Do you think it sensed it was being watched / followed? Do you think it could see shapes moving or thought it was just a trick of the eye? Write a thought cloud to show what it’s thinking as the pumas creep up.
