• Although an acrostic poem often uses the first letter of each line, it doesn’t have to. Can you make up one about a gelada monkey, using letters at the end of the line or in different places within each line? Don’t forget – the letters that spell out the word are still capitalised.

• Write the script for a comedy sketch that features a gelada monkey paying a visit to a dental practice. Feed your knowledge of geladas into the sketch. For example, perhaps a large male needs his canines whitening and gives the dentist the shock of his life when he opens his mouth!
