Ring-tailed lemurs are only found on the African island of Madagascar and some of its tiny neighbouring islands. It is the distinctive long black and white striped tail that gives this lemur species its name. Theses primates live in troops of around 17 individuals.
In this fascinating clip, we meet a band of opportunistic ring-tailed lemurs who are finding it tricky to catch fast-moving cicadas. As a consequence, they try to take the food other hunters have caught. Will they get away with it? Watch the clip to find out.
