• Write a conversation between Lloyd and his golden eagle – Tilly. Perhaps this will be a conversation that they had shortly after the robo hare capture(?) Do you think Tilly was angry with Lloyd? Will Lloyd make any promises to Tilly?
• Read The Eagle by the Victorian poet, Alfred Lord Tennyson. Discuss the images that the words/lines create in the reader’s mind. Write your own descriptive poem about a golden eagle that has the same rhyme pattern. e.g. AAA, BBB
• There was a time when golden eagles could be found in England and Wales. By the end of the 19th century they had all but disappeared. Find out why this happened and then write a newspaper article about this tragedy.
