Badgers are secretive animals that spend daylight hours underground. Their homes are called setts and, being nocturnal, badgers emerge at night to forage for food. Earthworms feature heavily in a badger’s diet. In a single night, an adult badger might eat well over 200 worms!
In this fascinating clip, a night-vision camera captures a family of badgers as they hunt and play together in an area of the New Forest. There is one particular badger that stands out from the rest. Why do you think this is?
