Seahorses must surely be among the ocean’s most fascinating creatures. Despite looking like tiny horses, they are actually a type of fish. There are around 40 known species of seahorse living in the world’s seas and and oceans.
In this fascinating clip, we are introduced to the planet’s smallest seahorse species – the pygmy sea horse. Being such a slow-moving creature, and with so many predators close by, this sea horse needs a super-smart strategy to survive. Fortunately, its tiny size and excellent camouflage make it very difficult to spot. How quickly are you able to spot this miniature marvel? Watch the clip to find out.
