Clip Description
Howler monkeys are famous for their loud calls, which can be heard from up to 5km away within a densely packed rainforest. High up in the canopy, a howler monkey can use its tail as an extra arm to grip or hang from branches.
In this fascinating clip, you will see a female howler monkey lazing about on the branch of a tall tree. (As one of the least active monkey species, howlers can spend up to 80% of their time dozing in the treetops.) For their babies, sleeping is not at all entertaining.
